Are you a Finance Professional looking for a new exciting opportunity?

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full-time, permanent Finance Assistant to join the team at one of the fastest-growing companies in the UK, as well as a growing presence across the 69 countries they sell to globally.

Reporting to the Finance Controller, the Finance Assistant will be fully accountable for the purchase ledger process, providing a vital service to the finance team. The role will also incorporate reporting elements, business partnering and scope to take on more responsibility with assisting with month-end and suggesting and implementing improvements to processes and controls.

**Responsibilities to include**:

- Managing the invoice processing system and ensuring that all invoices are coded correctly
- Stock Purchase Invoice processing through goods receipts
- Maintaining Goods Received Not Invoiced (GRNI) accrual and the Stock Prepayment
- Processing weekly and monthly payment runs
- Processing company credit card expenditure and staff expenses
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Vendor and Stock reporting
- Setting up new vendor accounts and maintaining existing account details
- Monitoring the finance inbox and responding to queries
- Accruals/Prepayments identification
- Filing documents
- Year end external audit assistance
- Adaptable, resilient and a supportive team player
- Self-disciplined and efficient, with a flexible and proactive nature
- Proficiency with accounting software
- Experienced in Excel and Microsoft office packages
- Relevant experience within a finance function
- Communicative, with a desire to build successful relationships
- Patience to deal with legacy systems and processes, looking for ways to improve throughout
- Good attention to detail and an organised approach

Please note this position is based full-time, Monday to Friday, in their Romsey based offices.
