This will be an exciting time to join our HR team as a HR Co Ordinator where you will be exposed to all aspects of HR administration including mergers and acquisitions.

In this role, reporting directly to our HR Manager, you will provide a people centric approach assisting the business in delivering its culture and people agenda, making an impact across all areas of the business. Building relationships with key stakeholders will be an important part of your role to ensure both managers and employees feel fully supported.
This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week based at our office in Ellesmere Port. There will be some occasional travel required both in the UK and Ireland.
**Role**
- Managing HR administration support for the full employee life cycle including recruitment, onboarding, reference and right to work checks through to leaver processing and exit interviews
- Being the first point of contact for HR queries with appropriate escalation where required to the HR Manager
- Responsible for providing first line advice and guidance on company policies and processes including but not limited to absence, annual leave, maternity/paternity /shared leave
- Complete and process all change letters including secondments, change of hours and change to terms
- Maintaining staff files and ensuring consistency and best practice approach to employee data.
- Managing sickness and holiday records.
- Collating payroll data from timesheets
- Processing monthly payroll using Sage 50 and updating pensions platform
- Contribute to updating and publishing internal communication on the intranet
- Working with managers to identify and arrange training and updating training records accordingly
- Typing up minutes from various meeting e.g. disciplinary, appraisals.
- Administrative support for all other HR activities including TUPE & projects
**About You**
- A passionate people person who is ready to hit the ground running
- A qualification in HR management would be desirable or willingness to work towards achieving
- Experience of running monthly payroll end to end using Sage 50
- Up to date knowledge of current payroll and pension legislation
- Experience in a similar role with knowledge of recruitment and onboarding
- Sound knowledge of using Microsoft Office especially Word & Excel
- Able to listen with respect and empathy with colleagues demonstrating care about their wellbeing
- Ability to work unsupervised with a highly organised approach to workload
