Branch Administrator (Hire and Sales)
Main Duites
Dealing with customers in person at the trade counter, whether prearranged or call in trade. As the first point of contact you are required to represent the company and provide a polite and efficient service.
To ensure that incoming/outgoing mail/telephone calls are dealt with speedily and effectively with particular emphasis on the handling of Hire and Sales enquiries.
To produce hire/sale quotations for customers in line with the Branch Managers requirements and to follow up until converted into either a won or lost order.
To ensure that the hire and/or sales transactions are processed both accurately and timely, in accordance with procedure and that all paperwork is filed with the relevant documentation.
To deal with all customer queries in a pleasant and efficient manner.
To ensure that returns, including weekly stock returns, are completed accurately and that all stock movements are correctly documented.
To arrange and maximise where possible the number of delivery and collections carried out company vehicles whilst avoiding having to hire additional transport where possible. To quote transport charges as per the pricing policy.
To perform general administrative tasks related to the role and required in the general running of the branch, assisting your colleagues when necessary.
Carry out specific projects as agreed from time to time and effectively implement Company policies and procedures.
To demonstrate honesty and integrity, in all business activities, while preserving brand and reputation in all dealings with staff, customers and the environment.
To participate in stock takes as and when and to input the results of the stock take.
**Prior Experience, Qualifications & Personal Attributes**:
IT skills with good attention to detail.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable working in a complex, challenging and fast-paced environment.
Determined and resilient, with the drive to complete tasks.
Experience in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential.
**Salary**: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
