- Effectively sourcing and ordering non-stocked items from other branches within the FSW Ltd Group or via the Purchasing Department. - Ensuring stock levels are maintained to the prescribed levels for the branch and ensuring that the stock inventory is always correct. Actively participate in stock take activities throughout the year. - Ensuring all returned products (including those under warranty) are dealt with promptly and in line with the warrant returns policy. - Ensuring all branch administration e.g., filing, customer and Health and Safety records are kept in an ordered way and in line with company guidelines. - Always maintaining a clean and safe environment, complying with all health and safety requirements including, but not limited to, wearing PPE at all times (PPE is provided). - Undertaking driver duties for the branch as requested. Therefore, a full UK driving licence is a requirement of this role. - Whilst on driving duties, complying with health and safety requirements, ensuring your vehicle is loaded safely, is roadworthy before every journey through daily vehicle checks, reporting all vehicle defects to the Line Manager as appropriate for your branch and completing trip logs. - Driving safely, following all laws and rules of driving to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. - Ensuring vehicles are kept clean and tidy. - Keeping accurate records of deliveries and customer authorisation and ensuring all documentation is submitted to management on time.
