**Alpine House Surgery now has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our very friendly and hardworking team.**
**ESSENTIAL SKILLS**
- **Previous reception experience.**:
- **The ability to demonstrate excellent telephone and interpersonal skills.**:
- **Knowledge of working with SystmOne is desirable.**:
- **Friendly, polite and compassionate about patient care, whilst understanding the strict guidelines of confidentiality.**:
- **The ability to work collaboratively as a team, both within the surgery and with external organisations.**:
- **The ability to work well under pressure in a fast changing environment.**:
- **An excellent eye for detail.**:
- **The ability to follow protocols closely.**:
- **A knowledge of medical terminology desirable but not essential.**
**Applicants will need to be flexible to occasionally cover holidays and sickness if required.**
**HOURS OF WORK**
**Days of work are negotiable (including full and half days). A typical full day is as follows:

**SALARY**
**£10.42 - £11.80 per hour dependent on experience.**
