Commissioning Support Officer

**THE ROLE**
- Supporting change across the health and social care system
- Providing commissioning support for strategic projects and programmes
- Focusing on quality, effectiveness and efficiency
- Supporting data collection, mapping and analysis for major projects
- Coordinating forward plan for local multi-agency Strategic Alliances
- Providing high quality professional support to Alliances
- Monitoring quality issues, progress against strategic actions and measuring/identifying performance indicators.
- Supporting the development of new ways of working by challenging existing practices
- Undertaking research and evaluation activities
**THE PERSON**
- Ability to effectively manage a busy workload
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experienced in providing business support to partnership meetings, i.e., agendas, meeting scheduling, coordination, capturing notes/action points
- High quality organisational skills
- Experience in adapting to a fast-paced changing environment
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, particularly Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams
- Experience of commissioning and/or project management support is desirable
- Excellent report writing skills to support the delivery of the programme and develop the written strategy
- Excellent people skills with the ability to work as part of a supportive team
**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm
