**WHAT TO EXPECT**

Are you a seasoned expert in OBD II calibration, driven by a passion for automotive innovation? JLR is seeking a highly skilled OBD Calibration Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our dynamic team. As part of the xHEV Calibration Department within Powertrain, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our Ingenium family engines and partner collaborations. Join us in delivering calibrations that achieve best-in-class attributes and robust diagnostics while meeting global OBD, OBM, and emissions legislation standards.

**Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities**
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for Diesel Aftertreatment and Airpath OBD, driving best practices and processes for end-to-end calibration delivery.
- Develop Books of Knowledge (BoK) for the Chapter and your sub-attribute SME area, sharing best practices within and across Chapters.
Deliver components of Diesel OBD calibration (Gas and BEV in the future), ensuring full validation and robustness sign-off.
- Develop a comprehensive set of OBD II standards and targets through optimized calibrations to meet departmental and legislative requirements for all markets.
- Collaborate with calibration engineers/developers to ensure calibration maturity aligns with submissions, on time, and in accordance with Calibration and Validation Processes.

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED**
- Expert knowledge of OBD II calibration and controls in Diesel Aftertreatment and Airpath (Gasoline Aftertreatment advantageous), Diagnostic Core, with an understanding of OBM interactions for Eu7.
- Expert working-level knowledge of PCM supplier mechanizations and experience using ETAS INCA/MDA and AVL CRETA engineering tools.
- Up-to-date knowledge of OBD legislation requirements for all markets.
- Familiarity with OBD Demonstration testing to meet certification sign-off requirements.
Experience in failure mode avoidance with demonstrable knowledge of FMA processes.
