**The Role**

BuzzFeed is looking for a detailed customer-service focused individual to help manage and support BuzzFeed's advertising operations in London. As the, Head of Client Services, you will assist in the creation of strategic sales proposals, and develop Media Plans based on creative ideas, to solve client goals that are rooted in storytelling and insights. Primarily you will serve as the client's main point of contact for the production of the program once sold, and work with the client/agency from the start of the campaign until the end. This involves working collaboratively with the sellers, creative team, production, project managers, research and distro to make sure the project runs smoothly and delivers in full. **This is a year long contract position.**

**You Will**

**Account Planning**
- Assist in the creation of proposals for incoming RFPs and create media plans based on creative proposals and client objectives
- Serve as the client's primary point of contact for the production of programs
- Set up and take an active role in meetings for advertiser proposals
- Partner with Brand Strategy (sales) in client meetings in selling through BuzzFeed solutions and strategy Collaborate and brainstorm with business teams in the creation of proposals
- Develop a strong understanding of BuzzFeed products for advertisers
- Establish relationships with agency and advertiser partners in local market
- Ensure feasibility of execution by vetting proper approvals through appropriate internal teams
- Ensure media plans include accurate pricing and available inventory and adhere to defined processes to ensure optimal program performance
- Enter and manage insertion orders within third-party and internal sales operations systems
- Work with the Distro and AdOps team in setting up campaigns and deliver detailed weekly reports as well as a Post Campaign Analysis at the end of the campaign.

**Account Management**:

- Serve as the client's primary point of contact for the program while meeting and exceeding client expectations
- Collaborate with BuzzFeed Creative and other teams to manage and launch custom BuzzFeed creative and custom ad products
- Monitor and optimise program performance and delivery by working with distribution and other internal teams
- Develop a thorough understanding of internal tools and become an expert on BuzzFeed ad products and ad specifications
- Communicate BuzzFeed products and offerings as they relate to client goals
- Provide reporting and associated analyses specific to BuzzFeed goals and unique client goals
- Deliver timely custom program reports using Google Sheets, as well as analyse the data and create a positive story around the delivery

**You Have**
- Experience working at a media agency or publisher, managing a brand's digital advertising strategy and buying activities
- Passionate about social media and learning BuzzFeed products
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfort with a client-facing role
- Confident presenter who can lead calls, as well as present a range of decks, from Kick of Calls to a Campaign Analysis
- Creative, with the ability to think outside the box and articulate 'big ideas'
- Possesses strong quantitative and analytical skills as well as creative problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in Google Sheets, Slides and Docs as a must, as well as Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote preferred
- Familiarity with Boostr, Basecamp, Slack, GAM and all Google Programs (Slides, Docs and Sheets) are preferred
- Adapts to different personalities and comfortable in a dynamic environment
- Brings enthusiasm, positivity and passion to everything you do, and will not be afraid to tackle projects both big and small
