Fire Liaison Administrator
Hello. We’re Severn Trent and we think water is wonderful. And we’re pretty keen on people, too.
24 hours a day, 365 (sometimes 366) days a year we serve 4.8 million households and business across the heart of the UK. Each cuppa drank, each toilet flushed is only possible because of the 7,000 brilliant team members working across our patch.
We welcome people from all walks of life and celebrate individuality. We know diverse minds, experiences and backgrounds help us to learn and better serve our customers and the communities where they live.
If you want to do more because you care, we’d love to talk to you. There really is something for everyone here.
**EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW**
We’re looking for **Fire Liaison Administrators **to work closely with the Fire Service, providing critical updates on scheduled and complete work.
Engaging with our Schedule & Delivery and Job Build Technicians, you’ll capture when jobs are planned and keep the Fire Service up to date on job completions, in line with our Service Level Agreements. If we hit our targets by informing the Fire Service in time, we earn financial rewards
You’ll sustain demand from the Fire Service on work like hydrant repairs and support colleagues on reducing the backlog of work that we currently have to get this newly established team in a more organised place.
You can really shape this role and the team culture, joining our Fire Liaison Analyst along with our brand-new team of Fire Liaison Administrators. The team will take you out on site visits to see the equipment to help you understand your role.
You'll be based in our modern **Pride Park** site in Derby where you’ll be able to park for free or get to with ease with loads of local travel options. You’ll work within our 320 strong **Workforce Planning & Optimisation Team** who all love what they do.
Though you’ll be working closely with the Fire Service, this role will be business core hours only, Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:00.
**WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE**
Communication is key in the role, as you’ll engage daily with the Fire Service and our Schedule & Delivery and Job Build Technicians. You can build rapport with others and flex your style to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
You’ll have a proactive approach, investigating problems and chasing colleagues for updates so that we meet our Service Level Agreements.
If you have knowledge of permitting regulations, that would be great but not essential.
So, if you are a great communicator who enjoys working towards deadlines, this role would be perfect for you.
We welcome people from all walks of life and celebrate individuality as we know diverse minds, experiences and backgrounds help us to learn and better serve our communities. We want people who show up and get involve.
Those who are ready to be part of something bigger and who want to make a difference because they care. Is that you?
**WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU**
Working here isn’t just a job. You can build a career at Severn Trent. We’ll reward you for it, too. We have a range of benefits that recognise great work, and award-winning training to help you reach your potential. And we’ll also help you play your part in looking after the environment and the communities where we live.
With that in mind, here are just some of our favourite's perks that you’ll get being part of the Seven Trent family:
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays (and the ability to buy/ sell up to 5 days per year)
- Annual bonus scheme (of up to £1,500 per annum based on company performance)
- Leading pension scheme - we will double your contribution (up to 15% when you contribute 7.5%)
- Sharesave - the chance to buy Severn Trent Plc shares at a discounted rate
- 10% monthly discount with Busy Bee Nursery, and one-week free childcare
- Dedicated training and development with our ‘Academy’
- Electric vehicle scheme and retail offers
- Family friendly policies
- Two volunteering days per year
**WHAT’S NEXT**
**We can’t wait to hear from you.**
And, if your curiosity has peaked and you want to find out even more, search **#LifeAtSevernTrent** on social media.
