**Customer Service Representative - Hybrid Working (after 6 months of training)**

**We're recruiting for Customer Service Representatives to work with us on 12-month fixed-term contracts.**

Within the role, you’ll provide excellent Customer Service as part of one of our established telephony teams. Being comfortable with speaking on the phone and building rapport with our customers is an essential part of the role.

**We are currently offering a hybrid working model - this would mean spending some days working at our Hitchin office, and the rest of your week from home - the best of both worlds Please be aware that you’ll need to commit to at least 3 days in the office per week, and will be required to complete some initial office-based training for the first few weeks/months of your role. If you are unable to do this, unfortunately this role will not be suitable for you.**

**About the Role**

You may deal with customers making claims on existing policies, meaning that some people you speak to will be bereaved and in need of our compassion and care. Some of these calls may be a little difficult, but we’ll always support you and you’ll be providing care and support to people during challenging points in their lives - your contact with them could have a really positive impact during an otherwise difficult time.

Our team is massively supportive and everyone around you will help each other. You’ll be trained and mentored to make sure you know the systems and processes inside out, as well as learning how to deal with the tougher scenarios. One thing we’re good at? Celebrating success and a job well done

You’ll work 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday). No weekend work. Overtime is available where there is a business requirement.

Our starting salary is set at **£21,255**. Your salary will increase as you climb the ladder and you will help to manage your own progression by setting and achieving objectives. This will help you to receive salary increases and develop within your role. You’ll also be eligible for a performance-related annual bonus.
