Are you a caring and hardworking person who would like to make a difference in a young person's life and help give them the life skills and confidence to achieve positive outcomes?

As a leading and respected residential care provider in Cannock for young people aged 7 up to 18, we offer a safe and cosy haven where our young people can feel happy and relaxed and express their views and feelings at all times.

Unfortunately some of them have encountered some form of early life trauma so it is important that we offer them a place they can really call home and feel they can express themselves fully and feel happy and safe at all times. The role requires resilience as some of our young people can display challenging behaviours on occasions.

This role is unique as no two days are the same and you will be helping shape a young persons life and help them make positive choices, also be a support and mentor for them.

Starting salary will be to £28,880 this is built on a 40 hour week plus sleep bonus of £50 per sleep we also offer regular pay reviews, generous holiday allowance and access to our therapeutic services 24/7.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Norton Canes, Staffordshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Residential Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
- Support Environment: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
