Reporting to the Milk Procurement Manager, initially for a 3-6 month fixed term period with the possibility of extending further, your role will support both the Milk Procurement team and the Finance team.
This is an exciting time for the Llangefni Site as we migrate, with the wider UK and Ireland business, to Leprino Foods reporting systems over the next two years. Your role will support the Milk Intake Team’s migration journey, along with the following core responsibilities:
- Working alongside the Milk Procurement Administrator to ensure monthly payment of milk suppliers by helping to verify and process all the data received from suppliers and hauliers.
- Working with the Site Financial Accountant to account for Milk purchases, Milk sales, and By-product sales along with the reconciliation of associated deliveries and despatches
- Producing Cost Centre Reports on a monthly basis, and reviewing with Department Managers to discuss key variances versus budget and forecast
- Compiling weekly and monthly KPI reports for review prior to submission to the Senior Leadership Team
- Preparing weekly and monthly Material Variance reports prior to review by the Site Management Team
- Take calls and queries from suppliers.
The successful applicant will have:
- Demonstrable competency in MS Excel, Word and other MS Apps including Teams
- Demonstrable competency in data input, system use
- Experience in working successfully within either a finance or purchasing team
- SAP experience (desirable, but not essential)
- A proactive approach to change and developing new ideas
- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- The motivation to develop knowledge, skills and understanding within a complex, dynamic business environment
