Medical Receptionist/ Prescription Clerk

**Duties**:

- Greet and check-in patients as they arrive at the medical facility
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate department
- Assist in the busy prescription department
- Schedule appointments for patients and manage the appointment calendar
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
- Familiarity with Systm One, NHS experience or similar is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Receptionist. If you have a passion for providing excellent customer service and thrive in a healthcare environment, we encourage you to apply.
- 1pm & 2pm-7pm and will change each week. However flexibility is needed to cover holiday or other absences.

Flexibility is essential in this post. The hours for this position will be 20 per week.
