The post holder will work with mínimal supervision to undertake a variety of clinical tasks to support the delivery of therapy to patients. They are to have delegated responsibility for a specified clinical area and assess, prioritise and manage own caseload of patients, determine problems and treatment indicated and maintain comprehensive records. Work with mínimal direction, undertaking a variety of non-clinical tasks to support the Therapy service. To be delegated training responsibilities to other staff groups.

The post holder will have a shared responsibility for departmental tasks to ensure the effective running of the Therapy Service. Following training the post holder is to assist in the management/treatment of patients in the Trust under the instruction of the Therapists as appropriate. To support the delivery of a high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service,all staff are expected to act as a role model to others in all aspects of their work and consistently demonstrate NNUHs PRIDE values of People focused, Respect, Integrity, Dedication and Excellence and demonstrate behaviours that support and encourage an inclusive culture.
