Sweetcombe Cottage Holidays is a family run holiday letting agency. Established 35 years ago and has developed into a company with over 200 properties. We aim to deliver 100% customer satisfaction and work as a team to achieve this. We work closely with our owners and customers to ensure we are always offering a high standard of customer service and to provide a positive experience for our guests.

**Specific roles and responsibilities**
- Assisting our Service Operations Manager and Housekeeping Manager to ensure guests and owner’s expectations are met and maintained
- To build and maintain relationships with all parties
- Arranging & coordinating planned upgrades and maintenance tasks by obtaining quotes and working within an agreed time-frame
- Understand the nature of the task and be able to prioritise accordingly
- To carry out ad-hoc inspections when required
- To be the point of contact for our local suppliers and contractors on behalf of the owners and The Company
- Arranging for risk assessments, safety certifications (including gas safety and electrical) and ensuring inventories are up to date
- Writing property information packs and making sure they are kept up to date
- Overseeing call-outs within agreed SLA timeframes, understanding the nature of the task required and arranging for the appropriate person to attend, whilst communicating both progress updates and outcomes to the property owners and/or customers as required

**Essential skills and attributes**

Be able to provide evidence outlining experience of the following:

- Ability to communicate well and work as part of a small team as well as individually
- Having a can-do attitude showing flexibility when necessary
- Be able to work under pressure and in a fast paced, active environment
- Have good all-round IT skills and experience
- Have good written English and telephone manner
- To be practical, and from time to time be prepared to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in
- Have excellent organisational skills
- Have excellent eye for detail
- Hold a full, clean manual driving licence

Hours:
Easter to October (inclusive) Week 1 Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

Alternating with week 2 Monday - Saturday 9am - 5pm with a day off during the week

November - Easter: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
- Out of hours cover on a rota basis (approximately 1 in 4 weekends)
- 28-days holiday allowance inclusive of Bank Holidays, plus an additional day off for your birthday
