The Caroola Group is seeking enthusiastic and talented individuals to join our team as a **Payroll and Pensions Apprentice.**

As a **Payroll and Pensions Apprentice**, you will embark on an exciting and rewarding journey that combines practical on-the-job training with academic learning. This position offers a structured pathway to success. For the 18 months, you will undergo comprehensive on the job training whilst working towards achieving the Payroll Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship qualification through our Payroll apprenticeship provider MBKB.
Guided by experienced professionals, you will gain invaluable practical experience and theoretical knowledge. Upon successful completion of exams and courses, you will confidently transition into a Payroll position. This transformative journey will equip you with the skills and expertise to thrive in the Payroll world, setting the foundations for a prosperous and fulfilling career.
**You will learn how to**:
- Action incoming documents such as P45s / New Stater Checklists / Post
- Process leavers
- Deal with incoming queries; manual calculations of salary payments
- Process end to end umbrella payroll
- Process CIS payroll
- Set up of private pensions
- Make amendments to contribution amounts
- Deal with incoming queries in relation to private pension and auto enrolment pension
**Requirements**:
- Must have Grade C or above in English & Maths
- Can demonstrate good IT skills
- High level of accuracy
- Organisational awareness
- Effective communicator
- Follows all tasks through to completion
- Have an interest in a career in Payroll & Pensions
