**Job Title: Employee Relations Specialist (Temporary)**

**Location**: Haringey, London

**Type**: 5-Month Contract (Hybrid)

**Salary**: £25/hr

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide consistent, robust, professional, accurate, and timely HR advisory service to allocated service areas.
- Advise and support services on all employee relations (ER) case issues, fostering good relationships with Directors, Senior Management Team, and managers.
- Maintain and update case work schedules and performance data regularly, interpreting data to advise directorates on trends and suitable management interventions.
- Advise, guide, and coach staff and managers at all levels on various employee relations matters, including absence, capability, disciplinary, probationary, grievance, conflict resolution, redundancy, redeployment processes, change management, consultation, and settlement agreements.
- Ensure casework is managed consistently and professionally, developing template letters, processes, reports, and guidance to manage risk and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Advise, guide, and coach managers in conducting fair investigations and producing investigation reports.
- Support managers in the preparation of appeals, including member appeals and Employment Tribunal claims, collaborating closely with the Legal department.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in local authority HR is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding, knowledge, and ability to follow guidelines to ensure compliance with Health and Safety at Work, Data Protection, GDPR, and other statutory requirements.
- Commitment to promoting and implementing the Council's Equal Opportunities policies.
- Proficiency in using IT systems and software.
