We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Food and Beverage Stock Supervisor to join our team and help maintain the high standards of our food and beverage operations across our five cafes and restaurants.

**Role Overview**: As a Food and Beverage Stock Supervisor at Kew Gardens, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage outlets. You will be responsible for managing stock levels, delivering food and drink supplies, and overseeing recycling and waste management processes. This role requires a reliable and detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and a passion for maintaining excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Stock Management**: Oversee and maintain optimal stock levels for all food and beverage items across our five cafes and restaurants. Ensure accurate stock counts and efficient stock rotation to minimize waste.
- **Deliveries**: Drive around the gardens to deliver food and drink supplies to our cafes and restaurants. Ensure timely and accurate deliveries, maintaining a high level of customer service.
- **Order Processing**: Coordinate with suppliers to place orders for food, beverages, and other necessary supplies. Monitor delivery schedules and ensure all items are received and stored correctly.
- **Recycling and Waste Management**: Collect recycling and rubbish each day. Supervise recycling and waste operations, ensuring compliance with Kew Gardens' sustainability practices. Implement efficient waste reduction strategies and promote recycling initiatives.
- **Inventory Control**: Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accurate records. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in stock levels.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**: Ensure all food and beverage handling and storage practices comply with health and safety regulations. Maintain clean and organized stock areas.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with cafe and restaurant managers to forecast stock needs and support their operational requirements. Provide training and guidance to staff on stock management procedures.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Previous experience in a stock management or supervisory role within the food and beverage industry.
- Valid UK driving license with a clean driving record.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage handling.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to sustainability and environmental practices.
