About the Role

At Chartwells, we're seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee our catering and service operations on a full-time basis. This role involves working 40 hours per week.

As a Catering Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring our kitchens and service counters run smoothly, delivering exceptional food experiences, and helping our team members progress their careers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • We are looking for someone who can prepare delicious food to the highest standards.
  • Supervise culinary and catering teams to maintain impeccable food and customer service.
  • Communicate with line managers to monitor KPIs and targets.
  • Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
  • Liaise between customers and culinary and service teams to exceed expectations.
  • Support and train teams, leading from the front to ensure excellence in every role.
  • Implement and review Health & Safety standards for compliance across all teams.
Requirements:
  • A passionate individual about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service.
  • A minimum of two years of catering experience.
  • Experience managing teams in a similar role.
  • A Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • An ambitious and motivated individual always looking to upskill.

The estimated salary for this role is £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. Shift patterns typically include 5 out of 7 days, contracted to 46 weeks per year.
