**About the role**:
Your Coop are looking for a Virtual Travel Agent to join our society. We’re a multi-business group operating in Food Retail, Childcare, Travel, Post Office, Pharmacy and Utilities, meaning you will get a breadth of multi-sector experience in a complex and fast-moving organisation. No two days will ever be the same

As a Virtual Travel Agent, you will be:

- Proactively promote and sell Co-op holidays across all social and sales channels
- Be one of the key faces of our social media, acting as an ambassador and expert across a number of destinations or products.
- Proactively responding to all comments and private messages, to convert leads into enquiries and bookings.
- Reactively respond to web generated calls

**Who are we looking for?**:

- An excellent communicator with an exemplary telephone manner.
- Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
- Computer literate, comfortable with using technology and social media.
- Tenacious and determined to generate and nurture leads optimising every sales opportunity.
- Competent in administration and customer services.
- An interest in travel or travelling or already well travelled looking to continue to explore the world
- Confidently handle difficult situations with a sensitive and professional manner
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and balancing priorities.
