Are you an experienced HR professional eager for a new opportunity in a developing business?
Our HR Generalist supports IQUW and its people managers with the Employee Relations agenda. This involved providing advice and guidance on ER cases to managers, developing their capability to manage ER issues independently and taking the lead on the employee relations policy. They also work closely with the wider HR team to provide a proactive and effective service to the wider business.
This role is offered as a 6 Month Fixed-Term contract to cover Maternity Leave. The location for this role is our Swansea office, and the classification is hybrid. This entails 3 days collaborating with colleagues in the Swansea office, and 2 days working from home each week.
**Supported by the Senior HR Business Partner you’ll be**:
- Providing commercial employee relations advise to people managers, including performance management, disciplinary, absence management, capability, and grievance processes, focusing on high risk, complex cases
- Maintaining an accurate employee relations tracker and providing oversight of decisions / documentation to ensure best practice and quality standards are achieved
- Providing HR Business Partners and people managers to provide oversight and analysis on employee relations trends and work to agree resolutions
- Creating, maintaining, and delivering people management training to enhance capability and minimise risk
- Horizon scanning for changes to employment law, best practice and leading on improving policies, management toolkits and templates
- Actively supporting employee engagement initiatives i.e., Health & Wellbeing and Reward & Recognition

**We’d like to hear from you if you have**:
- Experience of working in an advisory capacity, or similarly commercial role where supporting manager capability is a key focus
- Current knowledge of HR processes, policy, and practices in line with employment legislation
- Demonstrable experience of prioritising effectively and working to tight timescales
- Experience of working on HR projects collaboratively with stakeholders within and outside of the immediate HR function
- Strong communication skills, able to work with a variety of stakeholders and varying situations
