Do you have experience working as a healthcare assistant or support worker with a passion for caring for patients/residents? We are looking for talented and motivated individuals to join our team.

At HCC-Temps, we supply all grades of staff to the healthcare sector ranging from healthcare assistants, support workers, registered nurses, chefs, kitchen assistants, and catering assistants in various hospitals and care home locations across the UK.

Whether you are looking for 1, 2, or 5 shifts per week, we'll work around your schedule.

Preferably you will already have 1 year of experience in the care industry and a current enhanced DBS.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting healthcare professionals in providing care and support to patients
- Taking and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assisting with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assisting with mobility and transferring patients
- Observing and reporting any changes in the patient's condition to the healthcare team
- Assisting with meal preparation and feeding patients
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Compassion and empathy towards patients' needs and concerns
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Attention to detail in documenting patient information accurately
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and assisting with patient mobility

**Job Types**: Freelance, Part-time, Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: £10.50-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
