Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team in providing compassionate care to patients in various healthcare settings. The role involves assisting nurses and healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality care to individuals in need.

**Duties**:

- Provide essential support to nurses and healthcare staff in care homes, hospices, and assisted living facilities.
- Assist with patient care activities including personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility assistance.
- Engage in behavior management techniques to support patients with challenging behaviors.
- Participate in senior care activities and ensure the comfort and well-being of elderly residents.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks when required to transfer patients safely.
- Drive patients to appointments or outings as necessary.

Qualifications:

- Level 2 Care Certificate preferred, if not training can be provided for free.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions from senior staff.
- Strong communication skills and a caring attitude towards patients.
- Willingness to undergo training in patient care procedures and behaviour management techniques.
- Physically fit and capable of handling heavy lifting tasks.
- Valid driving licence for patient transportation duties.( not essential)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 60 months

Pay: £10.80-£13.80 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 72 per week
