**THE COMPANY**
Our client is one of the largest independent travel specialist with key values at the core.

**THE ROLE**
Our client is looking for a Travel Consultant within production to join their team.

Key Responsibilites:

- Efficiently handle end-to-end travel requests, ensuring client satisfaction with air, hotel, rail, and ancillary service reservations.
- Manage post-booking changes, process re-issues, and promptly address client queries.
- Maintain accurate records in company software, adhere to Quality Control procedures, and ensure correctness of all Galileo PNRs.
- Handle administrative tasks, including resolving accounting queries and facilitating final reconciliation with clients and Finance.
- Negotiate with vendors for optimal rates, maximising savings and profitability.
- Execute all tasks with attention to detail to prevent errors, financial losses, and ensure information accuracy for team continuity.
- Report errors, concerns, and client complaints to management, contributing to their resolution.
- Organise individual or shared Outlook inbox and departmental queues proactively.

**THE PERSON**

Key skills, experience and qualifications:

- Minimum 1 years experience within a travel agency.
- Previous experience with hotel and air fares ticketing.
- GDS experience is essential, Galileo is preferred.
- Degree qualification or equivalent experience is required.
