Jewson Supply Partnerships (JPS) is a brand within Saint-Gobain which specialises in providing solutions for our customers in the Public Sector such as Housing Associations and Local Authorities.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Apprenticeship Customer Service Advisor to support the Rochester Jewson Supply Partnership Team. We are looking for someone who would like to get a good understanding of working in the merchant industry, who doesn’t necessarily need previous experience.

This is a varied role in which you’ll build relationships with our internal and external customers whilst ensuring the branch operates in a safe manner and in line with all company policies and procedures.

**Please note this role is working Monday to Friday only and all applicants must have a full UK driving license.**

**As a Customer Service Advisor with Jewson Supply Partnerships, you will**:

- Deliver an excellent customer experience, maintaining strong effective relationships with both local customers and suppliers.
- Process customer orders both over the phone and in person
- Pick items to fulfil customer orders
- Demonstrate flexibility and team-working in order to improve efficiency
- Check incoming stock deliveries and put away in appropriate area
- This role will predominantly be based in branch but you may also be required to deliver stock if needed.
- Fulfilling customer orders in a timely fashion
- Checking incoming products against Proof of Delivery
- Completing documentation as necessary
- Realising full potential of all customer interactions and build effective relationships with customers and suppliers
- Understanding local market issues and communicate to Manager to support sales growth plans
- Report missing or damaged products to management
- Training included and courses as part of the apprenticeship scheme

This is an apprentice opportunity, for someone who doesn’t necessarily have experience but willing to learn and grow within the Saint Gobain team. If you also do have previous knowledge, we would be interested in discussing the role further with you. This is an opportunity open to all skillsets and applicants who meet the minimum requirements.

- Basic level of maths
