Production Coordinator

Our client, a leading independent Oil & Gas operator, are currently seeking an organised Production Coordinator to be part of the Subsurface Team in Norwich.

This is a full time, office-based role on 12-month Contract (with the strong likelihood of extension for the right person).

Working Monday - Friday, office hours.
- Do you have Strong IT skills in packages such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint?
- Are you a strong communicator with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks?
- Do you have knowledge of gas production and processing, reservoir and petroleum engineering and UKCS regulatory requirements? (Distinct advantage, however, training will be provided)

This is a core operational position. As the Production Coordinator, you will be responsible for the monitoring, reporting and optimisation of our client’s Well Stock. You will have the opportunity to measurably improve our client’s performance in the SouthernNorth Sea in what is a continuously evolving role.

**Key Responsibilities for the Production Coordinator Include**:

- Develop and maintain well cycling schedules to maximise production from the ageing Well stock.
- Manage a Well de-liquification and solids mitigation strategy.
- Work with Petroleum Engineers to develop and propose new ideas to optimise production.
- Liaise with Gas Coordinators / Operators to ensure execution of production optimisation plan.
- Ensure the FOGLs are maintained and updated as the Well dynamics change.
- Assist the Production and Subsurface Data Co-ordinator in fulfilling the regulatory requirements.
- Form a key interface between the Geoscience department and offshore/onshore operations.
- Ensure Ops & Ref, PDS and SNS Well Stock Master are maintained with the latest available data.

**Safety & Environmentally Critical Tasks**:

- Any chemical related stimulation work will be carried out ensuring complete compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Any well venting must comply and fall within our regulatory vent consents.
- Maintain safety culture and provide safety contribution to the onshore or offshore teams by making the appropriate interventions to prevent unsafe situations or unacceptable risks being taken whilst ensuring work is carried out efficiently.
- Risk Management - Understand and manage the offshore operations to ensure that the business is not taking inappropriate risks in executing their work.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental legislation and best practice for all aspects of well operation projects.

**Safety & Environmentally Critical Courses**:

- MIST
- Offshore survival.
- Offshore Medical.
- Donut.
- PTW (CBT).
- Hazard identification & risk assessment (CBT).
- MOC (CBT).
- Guidance on certification (CBT).
- Competence assurance (CBT).

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Degree qualified in Maths or Engineering although suitable experience will also be considered.
- Excellent attention to detail and an aptitude to problem solving.
- Knowledge of gas production and processing, reservoir and petroleum engineering and UKCS
