**Acorn Education and Care are currently hiring Care Workers in Hampshire**

**Role: Residential Childcare Worker**

**Salary**:Up to £27,295.68 per annum (inclusive of 8 sleep ins payments per month)**

**Hours: Full-time, Permanent **(**42 hours per week, varied shift patterns**)

**Location: Hayling Island, Hampshire**

- The willingness to learn not only about the people we support, but the ins and outs of Children’s Residential Care

**Some of your duties would be as follows**
- Supporting the children to appointments and activities such as shopping or trips out
- Completing relevant paperwork
- Undertaking household tasks
- Engage our children and young people in tasks and activities

Acorn Education and Care, part of the Outcomes First Group, are recruiting Residential Childcare Workers to join our teams within the Hampshire region.

Our registered independent homes offer residential care for vulnerable children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and Complex Needs.

Our homes are based in the Hayling Island area and are commutable from Portsmouth, Havant, Waterlooville and surrounding towns and villages.

Our residential homes are friendly and fun, and though there are challenges too, everything we do is dedicated to creating rewarding experiences - for those we look after and for everyone in our team
