**Role Overview**

The purpose of this role is to conduct expert and pragmatic monitoring activity to support the business in mitigating or eliminating risks and enabling Bupa insurance to confidently meet its objectives and regulatory expectations whilst ensuring our customers outcomes are fair and appropriate.

The role holder will provide independent Quality Assurance for our telephony Sales teams and regulatory assurance to Third Party & Affinity relationships, enabling the successful delivery of the Bupa’s distribution strategy. They will ensure all TPD and affinity relationships are managed effectively and within risk appetite to ensure successful adherence to the control framework, contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.

**What you’ll do**
- Focusing on compliance monitoring, thematic reviews and assurance work based on a risk-based compliance monitoring programme
- Assess the business against adherence to relevant regulatory rules, guidelines and codes as well as internal policies and procedures
- Collate, analyse and record information in preparation for undertaking face-to-face and desk-based monitoring work
- Attend joint meetings with field sales staff and provide QA assessments on the meetings & records held
- Prepare formal reports on the findings of monitoring reviews in the agreed format
- In conjunction with Compliance team and Business Assurance team management, assist in the presentation of report findings to the business in a constructive, professional manner, finding solutions where issues have been identified

**What you’ll bring**
- Experience working in the compliance monitoring function of a regulated firm - knowledge of general insurance and / or care provisioning would be required
- Excellent working knowledge of FCA & PRA Handbooks, CQC Outcomes and wider requirements including risk management, information security and financial crime
- Subject matter expert for regulatory requirements applicable to the financial sector & outsourced / third party relationships.
- Substantial knowledge of audit, QA and reporting methodologies.
- Substantial knowledge and experience of monitoring Regulatory Risk policies.
- An ability to plan reviews from inception to reporting stage and to work to strict timeframes
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple business stakeholders
