You will lead and facilitate a range of agreed service improvement, practice development and clinical audit and effectiveness programmes, including the quality assurance audits via Tendable. You will motivate and influence teams to adopt new ways of working to enhance the delivery and performance of the team. This will involve securing the co-operation of the practice and managerial teams You will initiate and implement change effectively in response to practice and/or organisational demands, ensuring that actions support continuous improvement. You will lead on the development and implementation of the Trusts clinical audit and quality assurance programmes, supporting improvement, and aligning work with the Trusts Quality of Care Strategy.

You will develop and initiate new ideas to support the quality governance agenda, which will include planning and implementing You will be responsible for ensuring NICE guidance is analysed, and that the Trust practice is measured against all relevant NICE guidelines, and actions plans developed to address areas of non-compliance with this area. This might involve conceiving and implementing new ways of working. You will be responsible for the line management of the Clinical Audit Team, which will include supporting their professional development. You will require excellent presentation skills to present and train on a range of new and unfamiliar concepts to Trust staff at all levels and to professionals in the wider health community, including Integrated Care Boards (ICB) You will design and lead service improvement events for staff from different professions and staff groups, ensuring their fulling understanding and engagement in all service improvement processes and activities You will lead on a number of projects using an evidence-based project management approach You will implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs, project evaluations, and assessment of results You will be responsible for the production of a variety of comprehensive reports in relation to practice development initiatives for the Executive Team, Trust Board, a variety of internal groups, and Integrated Care Boards.

You will present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions, including the production and management of issues logs, risk logs, and action logs You will monitor and contribute to the drawing up of departmental and project budgets You will establish and maintain effective relationships with colleagues in corporate and clinical teams to deliver an effective service, and support the organisation in relation to managing statutory compliance. Communication You will critically evaluate and analyse complex information, and disseminate information to staff in order to facilitate evidence-based practice You will be responsible for ensuring effective communication between the team and other departments within the Trust, and facilitate communication that results in clear responsibilities being identified within the multi-professional team. You will interpret and communicated highly complex, sensitive and contentious information, where there might be barrier to acceptance, and hostility to change, for example, when presenting an analysis of practice performance to clinical and / or management teams. Professionalism You will work autonomously, without direct supervisions You will recognise your own personal and professional limitations, and seek advice or support when required You will provide and formal and informal support and guidance to other staff, as appropriate, and be a source of expertise for practice staff to consult.
