**About the role**

We are looking for an experienced 2nd Line Support Team Lead to join our Technical Service Desk at Aspire. As an Infrastructure Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing and developing our second-line support team, ensuring they have the relevant support and tools available to manage their workload.

**What you will be doing**:

- Motivate a team of IT support server engineers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to enhance individual and team performance.
- Set clear performance objectives, monitor progress, and conduct regular performance evaluations for team members.
- Ensure timely and efficient resolution of server-related issues, working closely with the team to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and cross-training opportunities.

**You will suit the role if you have**:

- Proven experience in a team leadership role within IT support.
- In-depth knowledge of server infrastructure technologies, including Windows Server and VMware.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex server-related escalations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Experience with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and incident management systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

**Salary**

Starting salary £30,000 to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

**Location and Working Arrangements**

You will be based at Aspire’s Gateshead Head Office with travel as required. We offer hybrid working where possible to support work-life balance.

**Hours of Work**

Full time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday
