**Job Purpose and Mission**

The purpose of this role is to lead the data migration workstream as part of the move from SAP HCM to SAP Success Factors Employee Central implementation. The data migration lead will be responsible for the development of the overall data migration strategy including design and plan as well as management of the overall data migration process working collaboratively with internal Starbucks partners and 3rd party organisations.

The lead will be responsible for the delivery of the migration design and source to target system field mapping; support the functional build team with the technical and functional data design. They will also support the project management activities with developing cut over plans and by doing impact analysis on design changes, defects etc and work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs. They may have a data analyst reporting into them. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.

**Key Job Dimensions & Scope of Role**
- Responsible for management of day-day data strategy and data definition, escalating risks and issues to the wider Project Steering Committee
- EMEA travel may be required
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
- Stakeholder management across PRO, technology and global partners. Legal and Data Privacy.
- High level of decision-making responsibility

**Summary of Key Responsibilities**
- Drives work efforts and decision making to develop data processes aligned with SBUX EMEA modernisation objectives
- Identifying, extracting, cleaning, mapping, loading both the master data sets & transactional data sets from SAP HR to Success Factors. Manage cross work stream data activities (Extract, Transform, Load - ETL).
- Understanding and experience of data quality definition, discussions with business on the impacts of the data quality and solution for handling the data quality in case of exceptional scenarios
- Works closely with various Functional Consultants to define requirements and verify data and troubleshoot/correct errors.
- Building and maintaining a repeatable data load and migration process.
- Ensures data management throughout and coordination of data loads
- Manage cross work stream functions for data - Success Factors EC, Technical Integrations, Testing and Reporting
- Manage senior stakeholders on status, actions, risks and issues
- Manage oversight of the data migration ensuring the integrity of the data migrated from existing systems
- Collaborates with internal IT, HR and 3rd party stakeholder (System integrators, Payroll providers etc)
- Liaising and managing data work packages with the Systems Integration partner
- Ensures that all requirements, work plan, management plans and changes to commitment are communicated to all technology team members and 3rd parties in an effective manner
- Working with the Reporting workstream to help design and develop MI/Reports / Dashboards
- Sees the bigger picture, able to work through ambiguity and lead on business transformation/change projects

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- Extensive experience working with large-scale complex global technology initiatives in an HR SAAS environment (e.g. SAP Success Factors).
- Knowledge of HR data and data relationship to support HR processes and future state requirements.
- Ability in using query tools and understanding of relational database concepts.
- Experience in either building or testing of HR data integrations between systems.
- Analytical skills to assess data problems and see opportunities for improvement on how data is managed.
- Experience working with multiple markets, collaborators, vendors and 3rd party partners (e.g ADP Payroll).
- Ability to effectively collaborate across the Starbucks Global Technology organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to continually identify and develop solutions
- Ability to document and communicate the status of project progress against plans, taking corrective action as agreed necessary
- Ability to identify, clarify, and resolve issues and risks, escalating them as needed
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Ability to lead project team members and build a sustained organization
- Ability to review project deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with established project standards
- Ability to review ongoing and proposed projects to find opportunities for reuse and process improvement
- Certified in Data Migration and ETL Tools desirable
- Prior experience desirable in Cutover Planning, Project Planning, Project Design, Gathering Business and Functional requirements, creating functional specifications, and Use case data flow diagrams.
- Extensively used of Microsoft Excel, Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Word and MS Office products for Data Analysis, Project Schedules, Business process modelling, requirement/issues documentation and Customer training.
