About the role:
The Procurement Contract & Due Diligence Specialist will be responsible for contracts administration and supplier due diligence including, but not limited to agreement preparation, negotiations, and audit compliance.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Preparation of Request for Quotes (RFQ), and/or Request for Proposals (RFP) packages- Receive responses to RFQ/RFP and determine its ability to meet Company and Procurement requirements including preparation of justifications, price/cost analysis, and negotiation memorandums- Prepare, issue and negotiate contract documents and amendments with delegated procurement authority- Ensure timely processing of contract requisitions- Verification of accuracy and completion of proposal packages; coordinating with other divisions to clarify and ensure data is accurate- Establish and maintain accurate tracking records tailored to each contract-
- Attend and serve as contract representative at program and project meetings- Successfully create and maintain a pipeline of contract expiry dates to be reported on an agreed basis and communicate with relevant contract owners on action to take (renew/benchmark/tender/terminate)- Responsible for the creation of suppliers and contracts in our BSI Contract Database, ensuring that the information filled is accurate- Responsible for ensuring suppliers receive and complete due diligence questionnaires, and handling any issues that arise, escalating where appropriate

Knowledge and Experience Required:
- An understanding in the principles, tools and techniques of both basic and advanced negotiation- Analytical/commercial customer focused approach- Ability to analyse and determine the nature of the optimum relationship to be developed with a supplier and support the implementation of a structured Relationship Management Plan to achieve this- Relevant experience gained within a procurement function

Skills & Abilities:
- An understanding of the principles, tools, and techniques of both basic and advanced negotiation-
- Applicable understanding of the supply marketplace and its dynamics- Ability to support end to end Procurement processes (where appropriate) or fully participate in cross-functional teams and confidently operate at senior levels with internal business and suppliers- Able to analyse and determine the nature of the optimum relationship to be developed with a supplier and support the implementation of a structured Relationship Management Plan to achieve this

Education & Qualifications:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent- Has achieved or is prepared to study for CIPS accreditation
