Dog Trouble is a dog behaviour, training & wellness centre providing training and rehabilitation programmes to clients, with the ultimate goal of not only rehabilitating dogs but also to educate dog owners and people working with dogs about dog behaviour.

**Job Brief**

We are looking for an experienced Sales and Office Administrator to join our small team. You will serve as the first point of contact for clients with queries about services, products, orders, deliveries, and actively promote the services we offer to increase revenue.

The Sales and Office Administrator will report directly to the company Director.

This is a part time role - 30 hours per week. Hours required are 9.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. Tuesday - Friday and 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. on Saturday.

The full time salary is £26,000 based on a 40 hour week. This role will be Pro-Rata at £12.50 an hour.

Holiday allocation is based on a full year (January to December), which equates to 168 hours across a full year.

**Responsibilities**
- Answering the office phone and dealing with enquiries; providing callers with information on the services we offer and forwarding enquiries as appropriate to the correct member of staff.
- Using our online database (Kennel Booker) to manage Board and Train / Training School bookings.
- Maintaining the database to ensure client records are up to date.
- Liaising with the Board and Train Manager / Director daily regarding kennel space and stock required.
- Liaising with clients regarding bookings, ensuring correct confirmation information is sent.
- Monitoring Board and Train / Training School payments to ensure money is received promptly.
- Actively ringing clients to promote / sell Board and Train and Training School spaces.
- Promote Dog Trouble activities / availability across social media platforms on a weekly basis.
- Ordering stock weekly, receiving deliveries and ensuring all stock is stored correctly.
- Ensuring the shop is well stocked and kept clean and tidy.
- Serving customers in the shop, providing a high level of customer service, taking cash and card payments.
- Monitoring client ordering of products and ensuring items are packaged and ready for collection or to be posted in a timely manner.
- Cashing up on a weekly basis, liaising with our bookkeeper as necessary.
- Monitoring puppy class bookings and sending out confirmation to clients.
- Preparing paperwork and packs for puppy classes and workshops.
- Posting sponsorship packs to Dog Trouble Foundation supporters.
- Liaising with the Director and the Board and Train Manager to plan quarterly fire drills and ensure drills are recorded using required documentation.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and policies.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of internal policies and procedures.
- Attending regular meetings, taking minutes and distributing minutes to attendees.

**Requirements and Skills**
- Proven sales and administration experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to provide a high level of customer service.
- Confident to actively promote services and products.
- IT literate with good typing skills and confident using Microsoft Office.
- Time management skills and the ability to prioritise own workload effectively.
- Able to use Microsoft Office competently.
- Ability to work independently, using own initiative.
- Able to work as part of a team, take direction from others and collaborate effectively.
- Willing to learn and understand the requirements of the Animal Welfare Regulations 2018 Act.

**Training**

Staff training is provided to ensure the necessary knowledge and understanding of Dog Trouble Services and products are acquired.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
