Global Director Field Sales Management

**Job Purpose;**
The Global Head of Field Sales will lead our Field Sales organisation at DP World. In this role, he/she will be responsible for motivating and empowering our Field Sales teams worldwide while also contributing to the strategic development and implementation of our Field Sales strategies along with driving the necessary reporting/visibility initiatives.
**Key Accountabilities**:
Sales Team Leadership:
- Lead, inspire, and manage a global field sales team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to enhance the skills and effectiveness of the sales force.
- Motivate and engage the sales organisation to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with executive leadership to design and refine the global sales strategy.
- Collaborate with Total Rewards to design and refine the Field Sales Commission scheme for it to represent a recruiting and motivational driver to the team whilst delivering the needed financial/volumetric targets.
- Analyze market trends and competition to identify opportunities and threats.
- Develop innovative sales approaches and tactics to drive growth.
Sales Planning and Execution:
- Implement a comprehensive sales plan that aligns with corporate objectives.
- Monitor and report on sales KPIs, adjusting strategies to optimise results.
- Ensure effective sales processes and pipeline management.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Act as a point of escalation for high-priority customer concerns.
Market Expansion:
- Identify and evaluate new markets and business opportunities for expansion.
- Develop and execute market entry strategies to capitalise on growth prospects.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment with sales goals.
- Provide clear and regular communication to internal stakeholders regarding sales performance and challenges.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Manage the sales budget efficiently, allocating resources where they will have the most impact.
- Make informed decisions about resource allocation, including sales tools, technology, and personnel.
- Responsible for the management and leadership of an engaged team, promoting collaboration and ensuring that each is developed and evaluated against goals and objectives which are aligned, specific, measurable, attainable yet challenging, realistic and time-bound.
- Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with DP World’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies
- Perform other related duties as assigned
**Qualifications, Experience and Skills**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven track record of success in global field sales and sales leadership roles within the logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, and international trade.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to translate ideas into actionable plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
