- Developing and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Coordinating with stakeholders to define testing requirements and priorities.
- Identifing, prioritising, and tracking defects to resolution.
- Collaborating with development and business teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Working with the Test Manager to implement and enforce quality assurance standards and best practices.
- Working with the Test Manager to implement change in line with our business and team goals to enhance testing processes and methodologies and improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Providing regular status updates and reports on testing progress.
- Mentoring and coaching team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Setting up and maintaining test tools.
- Supporting with the efficient allocation of resource within the team
- Evaluating risks
- Assisting in regular employee 1-2-1's
- Lead internal meetings with internal stakeholders as well as within team.
- Assisting, guiding and encouraging progression within the team.
- Sponsoring cross-functional performance improvement initiatives.
- Designing, creating, and maintaining test documentation

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience (5+ years) in software testing
- Experience in people management
- Ability to provide guidance and mentorship to the others including stakeholders and direct reports.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively work under pressure and problem solve.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple people, projects, and priorities.
- Experience with banking or financial software is a plus.
- Ability to inspire and empower your team members.
- ISTQB certification is desirable.
- Experience in Automation is desirable.
- Knowledge in Java is desirable.
- Experience in using; JIRA, TestRail, MS Teams, Confluence, Clarizen, SharePoint.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
