Administrator - Technical Support Team

Working within a friendly and established team, under the supervision of the Support Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing efficient, responsive and high-quality administration.
The StreetCare Team deliver services from managing the roads, designing and building major road schemes, through to gritting the roads in winter and sweeping the streets. This is a great opportunity for someone with an interest in the place we live in, to join an established team supporting South Gloucestershire.
What you will be doing
- It will be your responsibility to provide administrative support to the team and its customers ensuring work carried out is efficient and procedures are effectively implemented.
- Day to day, you will answer enquiries and information requests that arrive via telephone and online.
- Daily you will undertake relevant administration tasks such as raising invoices and purchase orders, chasing unpaid invoices, taking payments over the telephone and processing requests for licences and services.
- It will be key for you to collate information, maintain accurate records, prepare documents and other materials using established formats, software and procedures.
What we need from you
- It is essential that you have five GCSE passes at grade C (grade 4) or above including maths and English, or relevant NVQ3 or equivalent or can demonstrate experience in a similar administration role.
- Given the nature of the role, you should have strong customer service skills and the ability to interact in an effective and efficient way.
- We require you to have a good knowledge of IT with experience of various Office packages such as Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
