Happy Days Nursery in Yate is seeking an experienced, motivated and professional Room Leader to join the team at our brand new nursery

You will lead one of our base rooms, offering support, mentorship and guidance to colleagues and overseeing the effective organisation of the room.

As Room Leader you will play a vital role in helping us inspire the future for our children, by offering them the very best care and education using our unique curriculum “Where Children Shine” you will also support your room based colleagues, overseeing the day to day running of your allocated nursery room.

Your roles and responsibilities as Room Leader would include

- Supporting the effective running on the nursery by being organised, and have the ability to plan and prioritise your work
- Being positive, confident and honest
- Having great initiative and a “can do” attitude
- Knowing and upholding our policies, procedures and established working practices
- Holding a recognised level 3 qualification in childcare
- Supporting, mentoring and coaching colleagues, through induction, supervision and appraisal

- Using our unique “Where Children Shine” curriculum to observe, plan and assess children’s learning opportunities
- Understanding and implementing safeguarding, health and safety and welfare requirement policies and practices
