**WHAT TO EXPECT**

Setting aside Motorsport, the role of JLR’s CA&M Chapter is to protect and promote the JLR brand to a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Our role in the External Corporate Communications (ECC) team is to anticipate, manage, react to and mitigate against issues that negatively impact the JLR brand, as well as proactively create and deliver engaging positive communications from around the business to promote the JLR brand, building trust in our business.

JLR is a business undergoing fundamental transformation brought about by our exciting Reimagine strategy, announced in February 2021. Set against a canvas of true sustainability, JLR will become the creator of the world’s most desirable luxury vehicles and services for the most discerning clients. Our strategy is designed to create a new benchmark in environmental, societal and community impact for a luxury business.

The Global Head of JLR Corporate PR brings JLR’s transformation to life for our external audiences, showcasing the delivery of our strategy, through the creation and delivery of compelling content and storytelling and, from a reactive communications point of view, leads the delivery of all JLR’s media relations, including leading JLR’s press office.

The Global Head of JLR Corporate PR is a senior member of the ECC team, a key member of the ECC First Line and senior advocate of CA&M Chapter. The Global Head of JLR Corporate PR has responsibility for JLR’s financial communications, strategic announcements, and business partners JLR’s Strategy Chapter to showcase the achievements of Tata Ecosystems, Open Innovation, Financial Services, Strategic Partnerships, and Digital (which sits in the Quality & Business Excellence Chapter).

Leading the team who deliver the proactive and reactive communications and storytelling the role involves business critical stakeholder engagement, working with external partners and colleagues at all levels from across the business, including the Board of Directors, to agree activity and consistent and clear messaging both proactive and reactive.

**THE ROLE**

Key Responsibilities

Financial Communications
- Working with the Global Director of External Communications activities you will deliver are:

- Lead and coordinate the development and delivery of JLR’s financial calendar communications - input into press release, presentation, Q&A, Hot Topics, social posts, timetables, other briefing materials
- Support the development of the agenda and content, and subsequent delivery, of JLR’s annual strategic update for media or similar activities
- Support the development and delivery of JLR’s CEO, media engagement/background briefing programme including creating content for briefings, interviews and meetings, with a view to delivering a positive outcome
- Brief executives, manage and attend media interviews with executives as required
- Ensure media training needs are met
- Work with the corporate PR agency to support the delivery of the ECC strategy
- Support the development of communications relating to activities required by Tata Sons. A content example in 2023 of this was the announcement of the Agratas gigafactory
- Undertake any other work as directed by your line manager in connection with this part of the role as may be requested

Content Creation
- The key pillars of the ECC communications strategy which this role is responsible for delivering external communications for is Leadership (Financial Communications, as above) and Strategy. The Strategy Chapter is developing new products and services for JLR’s clients. Key areas are Tata Ecosystems, Open Innovation, Financial Services, Strategic Partnerships, and New Services. These areas sit within under the Executive Director for Strategy (& Sustainability), Francois Dossa. With a compelling news sense, you will:

- Drive engagement with the JLR brand from business, corporate, influencer and relevant social audiences through the delivery of proactive communications, campaigns and evidence-based story telling for the areas indicated above
