The JLR Global Brand PR team is focused on promoting and protecting our brands to create an outstanding reputation as the creators of the world's most desirable modern luxury vehicles. We are instrumental in defining and delivering global PR Strategy and assets for the JLR House of Brands (Range Rover, Defender, Discovery and Jaguar), to maintain consumer interest and achieve positive media coverage.

The Global Press Officer role offers a significant opportunity to contribute to shaping the creative storytelling and messaging for the products and services at the heart of our PR activities.

Joining a diverse, energetic and collaborative team, you will work on a project basis with Global PR Managers to support the delivery of the House of Brands PR communication objectives with a key focus on supporting the commissioning, creation and production of PR content related to the brand and product line-up. This will include campaign development, the creation of media toolkits, press materials, budget inputs and asset management.

**WHAT TO EXPECT**
- Lead content management and storage of all PR assets including proof reading, archiving and usage rights.
- Support the development and implementation of global PR strategy, creating communications that promote, enhance and protect brand integrity and reputation.
- Storytelling. Support the development of global strategies, toolkits and campaigns across a number of nameplates. Understanding specific market and channel format requirements for assets.
- Support the commissioning, creation, editing and production of all content related to a specific product / campaign.
- Develop internal relationships and a 'network' within the business to uncover and develop new stories.
- Work closely with all communication channels and the wider Commercial team.
- Support the distribution of content to PR Managers and relevant stakeholders and coordinate the upload of all digital assets to the media website.
- Support product input for global media events including launches and media drive activity.
- Maintain a close working relationship with PR agencies.
- Ability to support the research, writing, and editing of press materials including press releases, briefing documents and presentations.
- Review daily clippings and online media coverage and submit Jaguar product media coverage input to the weekly PR Perspective
- Budget co-ordination and input to QFMAR process.

**WHAT YOU-LL NEED**
- Experience in PR and communications gained in a large blue-chip company.
- Ability to think creatively and create imaginative content to support product stories.
- Project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and proactively solve problems.
- Content development experience, including experience supporting photography/film shoots.
- Some experience of media relations, press office activities, PR and communications arena.
- Understanding of the Jaguar Land Rover news agenda and key business issues.
- Ability to work flexibly across diverse functions and departments.
- Ability to influence and build relationships both internally and externally.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to support budget tracking, raising PO's and approving invoices.
