**Morrison Energy Services** are recruiting a **Workforce Planning Co-ordinator** to support the mobilisation of a new Enterprise Partnership within the **MES Electrical Transmission division**. The role will operate as a key part of the mobilisation team, working collaboratively with other Enterprise Partners, to deliver the ‘Great Grid Upgrade Project (GGUP) led by National Grid, commencing April 2024.

Reporting into the GGUP HR Lead, you will have full responsibility for designing and implementing a strategic workforce plan, encompassing all resource-related requirements, to ensure the effective mobilisation and on-going successful delivery of the GGUP project.

**As the **Workforce Planning Coordinator **your responsibilities will include**:

- Work actively with the mobilisation team leaders and key stakeholders to understand project requirements, to design and deliver a future-fit, sustainable workforce plan, that delivers the project agenda
- Support the implementation of a central workforce planning tool, to provide a holistic understanding of the allocation and utilisation of all Enterprise resource
- Provide forecast data based on the resource needs of both planned and awarded packages of work
- Work with the Client to identify the skills shortages and support meetings to discuss training opportunities
- Work in collaboration with the mobilisation team and key stakeholders to develop a strategy for the ongoing mitigation of forecast resourcing shortfalls and training strategies of the existing or future workforce
- Conduct continual research into external market conditions, evaluating external trends to bring both external and internal insight into resource decision-making
- Conduct scenario planning and analysis to assess the potential impact of changing business requirements on workforce needs
- Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
- Ensure that workforce and recruitment plans are delivered in line with the Enterprise’s behavioural charter, culture and values, also ensuring equality, diversity and inclusion
- Be available and able to attend GGUP related meetings face to face, which includes the requirement to travel

**Skills & Knowledge Requirements**
- Proven experience of building capability in workforce planning in a large complex organisation and a sound understanding of resourcing and workforce planning methodology
- Strong initiative, resilience and confidence in decision-making
- Excellent planning, prioritisation and organisation skills
- Ability to engage effectively with all colleagues, at all levels of seniority.
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to speak/present to large groups of people, this will include designations from Managing Director to students.
- Strong attention to detail is essential.
- The ability to work swiftly and accurately with the determination to achieve budget requirements
- Ensure that all HR and recruitment governance is followed
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work confidently with complex data sets
- Flexibility to travel nationally to meet business requirements
