We are currently looking for a Sales Representative to join us within our Energas entity in Grimsby to be responsible for meeting individual sales targets by value and product type. This will be achieved by using sales skills to sell engineering and welding products to new and existing customers in order to meet individual sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
- Be responsible for achieving the Company’s sales and profit targets for the individual area.
- Be responsible for effecting an efficient and satisfactory supply and service to customers of the company.
- Adhere to the Company’s calling system in such a manner as to ensure effective calling on customers and potential customers, whilst minimising costs of travelling.
- Complete Company paperwork within guidelines and complete administration as instructed.
- Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
- Empathise with customers on any complaints regarding sales and service and refer to Sales Manager if necessary.
- Assist the credit control function in the company in the avoidance of bad debts.
- To abide by the current Safety, Health and Environment policy giving priority to the safety of staff and customers at all times.
- Operate within the guidelines as defined by the Company’s BS EN ISO 9001:2000 Quality Assurance System at all times.

Minimum Job Requirements
- Experience in selling or the knowledge of engineering and welding equipment including power tools and accessories.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.
- A full, clean driving licence.
- Knowledge of administrative procedures and systems.
- Confident telephone manner.
