**Opportunity to earn £11.00 per hour working 09:00 to 15:00, Monday to Friday as a Autism Support Worker**

You will be working in a day service that provides support for service users with varying degrees of Autism within the Worksop area.

The day service has good public transport links, as well as parking being readily available. You will be working on a 1-2-1 or 1-2-3 basis, this depends on the needs of the service users under your care.

If you are not able to work all week, we are able to discuss 3 to 4-day-per-week placements

**The Role**:
You will work alongside the existing team in the service to provide the very best of care to their service users, ensuring that they receive appropriate support as covered in their personalized care plans.

**As a Support Worker you will**:

- Assist with some basic aspects of personal care.
- Conduct activities with the service users to maintain their engagement throughout the day (inc. walks around the surrounding area)
- Assist the service users with their meals, including preparation as required.
- Ensure the health, safety, and dignity of the service users at all times
- Keep senior team members informed of any incidents, ensuring that accurate and factual information is recorded as required.

**Hours**:
You will be working from 09:00 to 15:00, with hours available from Monday to Friday

**Pay**:
You will be paid £11.00 per hour

**Requirements**:

- To be suitable for this role you will need:

- At least 6 months of experience working within a similar supported-living or day service
- Have at least 3 months of experience supporting service users with Autism
- Have an Enhanced DBS dated within the past 12 months or on the updated service
- Have Training Certificates for Infection Control, Moving and Handling, and Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults*
- Possess a real passion for the care of others
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Existing rights to work in the UK
- 2 Employment references (1 of which needs to be from a healthcare setting, covering a minimum of 3 months of employment)
- If you do not have physical copies of training certificates, we are able to offer training at a subsidized rate
