This senior position entails working on multiple decommissioning projects within the Decommissioning directorate.

Reporting to the Decommissioning Project Manager of the respective asset, the onshore Construction Lead is responsible for defining the construction strategy for each project. This includes preparatory works to facilitate the removal of the platform topsides and jacket, coordinating construction activities to support all project workstreams, and overseeing the delivery of facility works for the remaining lifespan of the asset. The role also involves establishing and leading a team to carry out the necessary works on the assets, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This senior position entails working on multiple decommissioning projects within the Decommissioning directorate.

Reporting to the Decommissioning Project Manager of the respective asset, the onshore Construction Lead is responsible for defining the construction strategy for each project. This includes preparatory works to facilitate the removal of the platform topsides and jacket, coordinating construction activities to support all project workstreams, and overseeing the delivery of facility works for the remaining lifespan of the asset. The role also involves establishing and leading a team to carry out the necessary works on the assets, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Technical responsibility for topsides removals preparation scope delivered by EPRD Contractor and Removal Preparation Subcontractor on EQ decom assets
- Accountable for technical, budgetary, and timely delivery of repair orders, minor modifications, and fabric maintenance for the decom assets.
- Collaborate with Topsides Lead to support necessary modifications for safe and efficient Engineering Down and Cleaning of the asset.
- Ensure construction activities align with safety, environmental, cost-effectiveness, and offshore execution requirements.
- Work closely with Removals Lead to refine cost-effective strategies for separating topsides modules and preparing them for removal by HLV.
- Lead EnQuest / Contractor engagement in planning towards topsides removal prep engineering and delivery works
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and manage change controls in topsides removal prep design and execution.
- Monitoring performance and outcome of engineering and delivery of topsides removals prep works
- Serve as an interface between operations team and decommissioning project teams.
- Collaborate effectively with the asset focal point for platform change requests (PCRs).
- Facilitate effective handover of work scopes between offshore and onshore teams.
- Support safe, efficient, and effective execution of decommissioning project work.
- Monitor removals preparation performance, develop metrics, and implement systems to track asset performance.
- Supervise offshore construction execution and manage contractors involved in topsides removal prep activities.
- Ensure adherence to the company's Project delivery gated process and manage changes according to Duty holder's procedures.
- Liaise with Operations teams and Company Technical Specialists for scope identification, progress reporting, and change management.
- Collaborate with Removals Lead, EPRD contractor, and subcontractors to ensure proposed solutions align with company standards, principles, and decommissioning philosophy.
- Manage nominated contractors, specialist contracts, and budget control for the planned work program.
- Ensure technical compliance of all modifications with legislation, standards, specifications, and the asset's written scheme of examination.
