Job Description:

As a Structural Engineer for Decommissioning, you will provide technical expertise for the structural aspects of facilities decommissioning in the energy sector. Your responsibilities will include providing technical input to estimates for project work scopes, providing decommissioning expertise in the support of tenders, and project management of structural scope(s).

You will also provide structural expertise in decommissioning scope execution and tender activities, develop project-specific decommissioning processes and procedures, and attend and input to progress and planning meetings. Additionally, you will provide technical expertise to the resolution of technical queries, ensuring that all design changes are captured by the change control process.

Your experience in conducting site surveys on offshore or onshore assets, producing structural calculations and analysis, and participating in design reviews, constructability reviews / HAZIDS, will be valuable assets to our team. You will also be responsible for providing checking and approval of discipline documents, complete interdisciplinary checking of documents where necessary, and interface with other disciplines, clients, and third parties on technical project issues.

In this role, you will be responsible for producing discipline documentation deliverables for inclusion in work packs and providing a level of technical support that satisfies the appropriate Asset Safety Case and that the PFEER performance standards ensure they are not compromised by any discipline engineering activities.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering procedures, industry, international, and client codes and standards, as well as ensuring that all work complies with the Contract Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures as appropriate.

Deliverables will include survey reports, structural design calculations, structural design and analysis reports, input to project execution plans, input to project basis of design documents, and input to concept study / FEED reports, including the development of discipline cost, schedule, and deliverables.
