Job Summary

The Senior Well Decommissioning Manager will oversee the operational execution and business development of well decommissioning projects in the UK at Weatherford, ensuring alignment with governance standards, customer objectives, and technological advancements. This role is pivotal in driving business growth within the UK, fostering successful partnerships, and expanding market presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize financial performance, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and contribute positively to the company's bottom line.
  • Drive business development initiatives to expand market presence and secure new well decommissioning projects within the UK.
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with local technology providers and stakeholders to enhance business opportunities.
  • Lead the operational execution of well decommissioning projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently, safely, and within budget.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Geosciences, or a related field. A master's degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a significant focus on well decommissioning.
  • Proven track record in leading complex engineering projects, including FEED.
  • Leadership and People Management.
  • Commercial Acumen.
