Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Decommissioning Engineer to join our team at Petrofac. As a key member of our decommissioning team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise for the structural aspects of facilities decommissioning in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide technical expertise for the structural design of new and temporary infrastructure and modifications to facilitate decommissioning of facilities in the energy sector.
  2. Provide technical input to estimates for project work scopes.
  3. Project management of structural scope(s).
  4. Conduct site surveys on offshore or onshore assets.
  5. Produce structural calculations and analysis.
  6. Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews / HAZIDS.
  7. Interface with other disciplines, clients, and third parties on technical project issues.
  8. Production of discipline documentation deliverables for inclusion in work packs.
  9. Provide technical assurance and oversight on structural design scope.
  10. Coordinates structural design resource in line with project requirements.
Deliverables:
  1. Survey reports.
  2. Structural design calculations.
  3. Structural design and analysis reports.
  4. Input to project execution plans.
  5. Input to project basis of design documents.
  6. Input to concept study / FEED reports.
  7. Requisition (including SDRL).
  8. Construction and destruct/decommissioning work pack input.
  9. Weight control reports.
  10. Presentations, sketches, etc.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering and decommissioning, with excellent communication and project management skills. They will be able to work effectively in a team environment and have a strong attention to detail.
