**Subsea Umbilical Package Leader**:
The Subsea Umbilical Package Manager, supported by the Sourcing and engineering functions is responsible for:
Providing on time delivery of the package at vendor by driving effective operation and monitoring of the interfaces, quality and safety performances. The position is responsible for vendor management, technical adherence, schedule verification, quality and documentation performances using Project management technique and domain expertise.

Supporting the Project management Team in follow up of the complete procurement cycle of the good from engineering interface to shipping of the goods to area of operation.

The Subsea Umbilical Package Manager position is mobilized at vendors to review all deliverables for manufacturing, assembly and testing operation and technical code compliance. The package manager will also contribute in resolving design for manufacturing, integration with topside and subsea UTA/UTH and installation interface issues and to ensure deliverables schedule is maintained.

The Package manager will be the single point site contact for all package technical issues, including Design Changes, Queries, method statement and management of the change.

To ensure full compliance, the package manager position will report operationally to the project manager and functionally will report to the GFDS Fulfilment leader.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review and become familiar with the vendor site and manufacturing process plan, Design verification plan, interface management plan, sub-vendor quality management plan, documentation management plan and support the execution of the scope of supply at vendor.
- In conjunction with on-site HSE vendor team participate in regular HSE reviews for manufacturing team members and to sub-vendor where critical scope and high safety impact activities are identified
- Support the project manager in Supervising the progress from engineering validation until packing and shipping of the goods at vendor in accordance with the project execution plan
- Take ownership for ensuring all vendor package associated documentation is delivered to the project schedule.
- establish delay log and report to project management team and sourcing team.
- Control internal and external interface with electrical connectors, optical connectors, termination supply, structures, multibore connectors and installation requirement (buoyancy, lifting, hook up points, etc )
- Liaise with Quality manager to ensure that project quality policies are followed during the procurement of the Subsea vendor package.
- Ensure nonconformities that impact delivered equipment are raised without delay and expedited through the system to resolution.
- Liaise with respective product Engineering organization for support with respect to technical queries and problem resolution.
- Keep register of Engineering work instruction and Technical queries
- Gather data for weekly and monthly reporting to project manager, commodity leader and specific to Customer if any.
- Liaise with System engineer with regards to preparation for TEST at site. Participate in FAT/EFAT test readiness reviews ensuring the involvement of the HSE Manager and supporting Test manager.
- Through on-Site Planning ensure implementation and updates of Schedule Development and Control Plan.
- Ensure vendor documentation verification/as built markup is ongoing during the course of manufacturing allowing full document set to be available at work completion.
- Participate in reviews of lessons learned taking and recording corrective actions where appropriate. Send lesson learned back to base organization on a regular basis.
- Highlight Changes and their impact (Cost/Schedule/Technical/Interface Impact) and alerting need for change proposals as per relevant procedure.
- Support and coordinate the submission final documentation package

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 10 years relevant experience across Engineering, procurement and manufacturing phases of Oil & Gas Subsea projects, preferably at least 2 years of engineering domain experience and installation, SURF project scope too.
- Commercially, financially and contractually aware.
- Proven capability of working in a matrix environment.
- Willing to work on own initiative and at a detail level.
- A good team Player
- Self-motivated and energetic individual
