They are looking to grow their team withexperience Installation Engineers (Senior and Principal Level)

These positions are Permanent and located at their global project centre in Sutton. Hybrid working available.

The opportunity

You will be part of the"Installation and Project Engineering" discipline within the globalprojects team on a Staff basis. You will representthe discipline on tenders and projects (providing the conduit fortechnical challenges) and responsible for maintaining discipline expertise as well as develop newcapabilities. You will be responsible for developing the installationof subsea structures , mooring systems, risers systems, flexible flowlines and umbilicals . You will prepare the scopeand support the offshore crew during the operation. You will ensurethe interface with the Client, suppliers, offshore crew and the designteam.

Main responsibilities

  • Direct installation work packages on a Tender, FEED orProject,
  • Deliver scopes within budget to the agreed qualityand timeframe,
  • Direct scope both technical and commercialscope change,
  • Able to support a team of engineers andcontribute to their professional development,
  • Technical pointof contact for specific installation subject matter,
  • Manageinterface topics with all stakeholders; external (clients, suppliers)and internal (other disciplines, installation, manufacturing,purchase),
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality documents andstudies related to tenders, FEEDs and Projects. This shall be throughexample and robust reviews,
  • Direct engineering activitiesrelated to the preparation and installation of products,
  • Plan, develop and review specific procedures/task plans andassociated calculation notes (design lifting slings),
  • Supportvessel mobilisation and installation phases on vessel to supportcurrent project delivery,
  • Ensure activities are conducted incompliance with the Project standards in terms of Quality, Cost &Time,
  • Maybe required to be the Technical Owner for asubject/product and provide policy making for choice of subcontractorand technical oversight of their work,
  • Validate concepts andcontrol changes accounting for HSEQ criteria,
  • Activelyparticipate in the development of our discipline and mentor juniorengineers,
  • Taking ownership and promote an area of technicalexpertise, as required contribute to the update or development ofcorporate standards and guidelines,
  • Offer and promoteinnovative solutions that enable the reduction of costs.

Experienced required

Youwill be able to demonstrate knowledge, skills, experience andbehaviours in the following areas:

  • Graduated with a Masterof Engineering and relevant work experience in the energy sector,
  • 6-10 years experience within Offshore/Subsea installation,
  • Maintain expertise in two or more of the following areas;
  • Hook-ups orPull-in’s,
  • Flexible Flowlines,
  • Umbilicals / Flying Leads
  • Mooring Installation,shore-pull and other relevant experience is desirable,
  • Experience working in deep and ultradeep water construction,
  • Experience working on Tenders and Projects,
  • Practical experience of project or contractual management,
  • Developing operational documentation; procedures, task plansand rigging design,
  • High level of relevant operationaloffshore experience,
  • Deliver work autonomously with minimalsupervision,
  • Capacity to priorities, plan, coordinate andcommunicate to enable effective delivery,
  • Experienceco-ordinating or leading teams (including handling others workloads),
  • Contribute to the development of engineers,
  • Abilityto accommodate different working cultures and behaviours,
