The Governance and Business Support Consultant will help to Manage the operational impacts resulting from changes in our Agency Network. Providing specialist advice on policies and processes, ensuring excellent customer service, suggesting and delivering process improvements, assisting in the adoption of Agency Network roadmap changes as well as ensuring the on-going good repute and financial solvency of all Agents.

Or to put it more simply, you will be the kind of person that loves a process and loves to work in a detail focused and methodical way. You will work as a key point of contact for Senior Stakeholders in the department, helping them to implement decisions and drive key changes.

This is a small but effective team, that have a history of career progression, sitting in a really key department within NFU Mutual. Your work here matters, and you’ll get the chance to build a great professional network across the business.

**About you**:
You will have a strong Customer Service ethic, wanting to help find solutions to problems, whilst making sure that processes are adhered to. The details are important in this role. As a result, you are the type of person that wants to make sure everything is right before you send it to stakeholders. But you are also the type of person that doesn’t like process for process sake. Someone who likes to improve the way that things are done, to make things better for everyone.

It is also essential that you have the following:

- Understanding of business accounts and personal finances.
- Numerical reasoning
- Experience of analysing information to form decision making
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel knowledge
- 3rd party supplier management
- Ability to work under own initiative to identify on-the-job improvements.
- Experience of working within a regulatory environment desirable.
- Able to deliver to tight timescales and work accurately.
