Data Governance Specialist - Datatech Analytics
12 month FTC, £50K plus bonus and benefits - West Midlands - Hybrid

We are seeking a skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our forward-thinking team at Datatech Analytics. As a key player in elevating our data governance practices, you will be responsible for crafting essential governance documentation, assessing data quality, and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Crafting Compliance Masterpieces: Enhance governance documentation, including DPIAs, RoPAs, and Cookie Privacy Assessments, ensuring regulatory standards.
  • Data Quality Advocate: Assess and enhance data quality, drive business success, and implement strategies for root cause analyses.
  • Stakeholder Collaborator: Engage with multiple stakeholders, fostering collaboration and ensuring compliance across departments.
  • Continuous Improvement Champion: Identify and implement best practices in local data governance, driving continuous improvements.
  • Project Navigator: Contribute to complex projects, aligning them with governance principles while delivering business benefits.
  • Data Governance Ambassador: Represent the data governance team, providing expert advice on data integrity, privacy, and infrastructure.
  • Regulatory Vigilante: Stay ahead of GDPR requirements and develop remedial work programs to address ongoing risks.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Stakeholder and Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships across diverse teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
  • Change Management Champion: Implement information and business process changes effectively, ensuring buy-in from all levels.
  • Data Governance Background: Substantial experience in data governance or protection, with a deep understanding of GDPR, PECR, and BCBS239 regulations.
